Sophia tasted the sweet air in through her mouth and nose. It was a floral scent, honeydew as well. She listened as the wind lightly rustled the leaves in the trees around her, creating rays of sunlight to bounce off her marble skin. Momentarily distracted, she gazed at the diamond like effect that shown off her arm. It created a light and tender warmth and she closed her eyes, taking it in. The wind sent her hair fluttering around her face, lightly brushing her cheeks. Then she caught a scent so much stronger than all the others. Her eyes flashed open and she was no longer a beautiful creature enjoying nature swirl around her. She was a predator. In the blink of a human eye, Sophia darted through the trees at a blinding speed, following the lush scent that made her throat flame. She sped through the forest until she came upon a clearing where she could see her prey. She crouched, ready to pounce. The creature had no chance of seeing their death come before their eyes. Sophia sprang and landed on top of it, instantly sinking her teeth into the neck. She growled hungrily as the warmth of the blood flooded her throat and nothing could tear her from the moment. But as soon as she finished, she caught another scent of a presence she had not noticed before.

Adeline made her way through the forest happily, minding her own business. Like always, right? Incorrect. Adeline couldn't get her nose out of peoples business. Always needed to know what was happening, who was doing what, and whee everything was. She was a total control freak sometimes, but it worked to her advantage sometimes. She stepped on twigs and sticks, listening to them snap. The loud sound of a snap, and the crunching of leaves as she stepped on them. In a rhythmic pattern. She sighed and brushed stray curls away from her face. She had her hair in a loose ponytail, she didn't want to do anything with it right now. So she just put it up in a lazy pony tail, while her curls fell across her somewhat angelic face. She had a family bonfire to go to soon, but wanted to ignore it. Just shy away, she didn't really want to hear about all of those werewolf story's. Didn't want to hear them at all, or about vampires. She all ready knew everything. Everything she needed to learn. And she most certainly didn't want to be there when eh her big, annoying cousin, Lucas, bragged around her. On purpose. Saying how being a werewolf already was great, and you could do everything and anything you wanted. Who cared, you lousy person. She hated him of course. Adeline was the shy type, always shying away from family or friend groups. She didn't have alto of friends because of this, but she had just enough for her to live.
Soon, she stopped dead in her tracks. She smelled something rotten and knew right away what it was. Vampire. She growled faintly, her eyes narrowed. She started to walk slowly, in crouching position mainly. Glancing from side to side. Trying to catch another whiff of that nasty smell. Come on wind, come on. Blow the scent this way..she thought. Soon she got impatient, than just than the wind blew and the scent came back. She wished she was a werewolf n ow. But she hadn't phased yet, and boy was she getting impatient. She soon followed th scent of the vampire, and as she went farther. The scent got stronger. Almost unbearable. Why did they have to smell, why? She growled again, in frustration. She could see anything, could only smell the blood sucker. She pushed more stray curls out of her face, they had fallen from behind her ear. Once again. She pushed them back behind her ear and went on with her hunting and looking. Where was the bloodsucker? She could find him/her anywhere. Soon, she saw something. She knew that had to be it, since when she took a couple more steps in the direction of the vampire, the smell got stronger. Bingo. "Hey." she said loudly, for the bloodsucker to here. Of course, Adeline was the dare devil kind also. "Go back to your vampire friends, suck their blood." she said with a smirk. She stood up straight and put her hands on her hips. She was waiting for the vampire to turn around. She now knew that it was a girl because she had long hair, and a more lady-like body.

Sophia caught a smell in the air. Unknowingly, she took one huge whiff that almost knocked her off her feet. The horendous smell of a werewolf. But it wasn't the only thing there, a human scent, too. It was so tempting, but the werewolf smell got in the way of the mouthwatering scent and was easy to ignore. She was about to finish her lunch, but the hybrid sneered at her. "Hey. Go back to your vampire friends, suck their blood." Sophia turned around to look at the girl, as she could hear in her voice. She raised her eyebrow at the girl's tone then returned to her meal, hoping the girl wouldn't spoil it any further.
